Wow. We found the one cop who genuinely OD’d on fentanyl.

For years, cops have been telling us about how scary it is to be exposed to fentanyl. In reality, you can touch fentanyl and be fine (drug dealers do it every day!), but that didn’t stop cops from posting videos of themselves grabbing hold of a plastic bag, then shaking like a dog having a nightmare.

In this case, however, it appears that there was a police officer who really actually took too much fentanyl. Don’t worry, he’s fine.

So, here’s what happened: Early in the day, Sacramento Sheriff’s Deputy Marvin Morales busted a man with meth. Morales then confiscated the drug and cited the man. All good so far.

What was *less* good was that, a few hours later, one of his cop buddies went to the station to find Morales passed out in the bathroom. As it turns out, Morales had previously stolen a glass pipe from work and had been hitting the residue. Now, he wanted a taste of the real thing — only this time, it wasn’t the real thing, but fentanyl.

Luckily for him, he was soon revived thanks to Narcan, though he eventually submitted his resignation to the force — a full three-plus months after this all took place.
